Welcome to Wharton Tech Toks
The new podcast and blog launched by Wharton Tech Club
Wharton Tech Club is SUPER excited to announce the launch of Wharton Tech Toks (WTT).
MBA students are increasingly looking to break into or grow within the tech industry. As Wharton Tech Club prepares new cohorts of students for the industry each year, we realized that one of the biggest opportunities for students is to gain a better understanding of the diverse industry.
WTT is a podcast and blog run by MBA students to help both our members and the general public better understand the tech industry and where the flying hell it’s going. (We’re probably going to be wrong in our future predictions, but we should hypothesize, fail and learn, right?)
Podcast
WTT Podcast creates a space for bold, forward-looking tech discussions that enlighten and inspire. We feature thought leaders, executives, founders, investors, and professors from across the tech industry. We discuss interesting trends, analysis, strategies, and personal stories that are compelling to our audience that ranges from MBA students to senior executives.
We want to dare to be bold, even if we’re wrong, to push our collective thinking. Our goal is for WTT Podcast to become required listening for tech leadership insights.
Blog
WTT Blog is an entirely student run publication that looks to share real, well analyzed insights from across the tech industry. We aspire to focus on issues that are incredibly relevant to business school students. Blog topics will range from types of tech roles and recruiting advice to current industry issues and hot takes.
WTT Blog is an opportunity for students to share their expertise from their past experiences in service of helping others learn and grow. We also just wanna have some fun.
All together, our mission is to best serve our club’s members by educating them on the industry, enabling them to share their expertise, and distinguish Wharton as one of the best tech-focused B-schools globally.
The Team
Ok — but who the hell are we? This is truly a collective effort by the whole Wharton Tech Club board, composed of first and second year students passionate about the tech industry (#HireUs #BSchoolLoansTooHigh). We also look forward to partnering with other clubs in the broader Wharton community.
Special shoutout to the Wharton Tech Club presidents, Stephen Ipe Varghese, Elaine Liu and Matt Gates, who worked tirelessly over the summer get this off the ground. They are our constant advocate and support.
